Rank algorithm update from google weeded out a lot of good or bad websites, the reason cited is that google wanted to provide more relevant results, google engineers published blog post which indicated there were 11.8% organic search results will be affected, put it this way, there are about 12% of google search results are considered low quality by google itself. Google started this change almost one year ago, maybe that’s why some of my ranks dropped out of first 10 pages, but almost all the ranks promoted by articles and blog posts were not affected, and a few of them even gained a few positions, it becomes clear that link building the old way is the thing of past, probably due to link spamming sites being de-indexed by google.
Now what on earth is plain link building and how do people do it? There are a lot of SEO company out there are doing this, they put your links on websites which only exist for holding links, the only updates on those websites are the new links, and most of them are useless, the name link spamming are just for these sites. New google algorithm most likely will punish these link spammers, any links on them will be affected too.
Maybe a few examples will make it clear. It was quite some time ago, I started promote the keyword, Car Dolly, it was old way of link building all the way, lately I figured that every site in the campaign had way too many links, and those sites had only links, no real content at all. In the beginning, the ranking of the keyword in question rise pretty fast, eventually the keyword could be found on first page, this was the case until google made the change. Now let’s look at another keyword, chain pullers, most back links for this keyword are from articles and posts, not too many plain links have been built, the rank for this keyword is making me real happy. Old and outdated linking campaign lost to content linking, what’s next? Actually this is all about content, as long as you dole out high quality content, you will attract readers as well as search engines. It’s never too late to build good blogs for business purpose, such as this interesting blog, kaiya eve couture , I didn’t put too much effort into it from start, but I never stopped posting, I guess you believe this site won’t be doing too well, much to my surprise that the site actually ranks for quite a few keywords. As we can see, quality blog marketing is much better than plain link building. Now imagine you have your own blog network, for instance Wheel Strap, you will have the power to push any sites up in search engines.
Bottom line is that you should create great content, get people to enjoy and share your stuff, in the mean time advertise your business with your content, this strategy will prevail in short or long term. Whatever you do, you will need persistence and patience, long term strategy is required to improve anything of significance, be it your business or search rankings, keep doing what we have to do till the end of world. The Twitter tools is a wordpress plugin, you can install it, then go ahead register a new twitter account and app, set up API credentials in your twitter tools option, you should choose to post a tweet for every new post, it’s real easy and useful, no one should miss this tool out.

Lately google did something to their ranking algorithm, in the hope of furnishing it’s search users better results, according to their official blog, this change impacts 11.8% organic search results, say it another way, there are about 12% of google search results are considered low quality by google itself. They planned and started the update about one year ago, and recently I see some of my ranks were lowered considerably, the good thing is that those keywords promoted by content rich links are not affected, some of the keywords even ranked better than before, it’s almost a sure thing that plain link building loses all it’s attraction, at least in the eye of google.
What is old way of link building any way? a large percentage of SEO firms will do this, they will get links from any websites which accept adding links, the only updates on those websites are the new links, and most of them are useless, the name link spamming are just for these sites. The latest google update will definitely downgrade most if not all of these sites, all the links on those websites will have the same fate.
A few real world examples will help to explain what I said. It was quite some time ago, I needed to rank the keyword, E Track, it was old way of link building all the way, almost all the sites I got link from had too many links, worst yet, those sites had no content at all. It all boils down to content, when you create unique and quality content, your rank will improve over time, since search engines are another kind of readers. How do you do it? Now you can see, quality blog marketing is much better than plain link building. Now imagine you have your own blog network, such as Car Tie Down, then it will be easier to do article marketing.
At the end of day all you need to do is to create attractive content, get people to enjoy and share your stuff, promote your business with the content, your effort will reward you handsomely in the end. I am going to be purchasing a used car. I need to wait until Friday to have a full down payment but I have $500 right now, will the dealer accept $500 for a cash deposit to hold the car for me?
They certainly should…providing you are already approved for the loan. I would hold it for less than that. If they dont want to I would find another dealer.
